What this site collects (and what it does not).

The short version

• The site sets no cookies.
• We collect nothing about you unless you send us a note or book a call.
• We never sell or share your information for advertising.
• We never collect patient information, and we ask you never to send any.

What we collect when you visit

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It tells us how many people viewed each page, roughly where they were (country and region), what kind of device they used and which page sent them here. It does this without cookies and without building a profile of you, and it cannot tell us who you are.

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel keeps short-lived technical logs, including the internet address your browser used, to keep the site running and to defend against abuse.

What we collect when you send a note

The contact form asks for your name, your work email, your organization, your role, what you are exploring and a short message. That is all we receive, and it goes to our email inbox so we can reply to you.

The form is delivered by Web3Forms, a service that passes the submission from the site to our inbox. Web3Forms sees the submission in transit and may hold a copy for a short time under its own privacy policy. We chose it because it does not track visitors or set cookies on this site.

What we collect when you book a call

Booking a call takes you to a Microsoft Bookings page. The details you enter there, such as your name, email and the time you chose, are stored in our Microsoft 365 account and used to hold the meeting and send you the invitation.

Where your information lives

Notes and bookings live in our Microsoft 365 account, which is where our email and calendar are. We keep a note for as long as we are in conversation with you, and as long as ordinary business records require after that. Nobody outside Veradence Health sees it unless you ask us to introduce you to someone.

What we never do

• Set cookies, or use any tracking that follows you to other sites.
• Sell, rent or trade your information.
• Share it with advertisers, or use it for advertising ourselves.
• Add you to a mailing list because you sent a note. If we ever start a newsletter, you will be asked first.

Patient information

Our work uses simulated patients, so none of it involves real patient records, and nothing on this site is set up to receive them. Please do not include any patient information in a note or a booking. If we receive any, we delete it and let you know.

Links to other sites

This site links to published papers, to LinkedIn and to Microsoft Bookings. Each of those sites has its own privacy policy, and this one stops at the link.

Your choices and questions

If we change this policy, the date at the top changes with it. We will not change what we do with information you have already given us without telling you.
